Week 8 Part B

 The hashtags that I used were #cosmetologyschool, #eufora, #hairstylist, #salonowner, #salonownershipmadeeasy, #cosmetologystudent, #hairsalonstylist. I just thought of general keywords that apply to the podcast. The only one that is really specific to my business was the #salonownershipmadeeasy one, which is the name of the podcast and account. We generally like to post around evening times because we find that that is when our audience, especially on Instagram, is most active. Typically, it is anywhere from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This assignment just reinforced what I already knew about how important it is to be very specific and intentional about everything when it comes to posting on Instagram for a business.

  1. Hi Jessica! That is great that your business has found the right time to post in order to get the most engagement. There really is an algorithm to posting on social media and timing is huge. I also use a lot of general hashtags that are relevant to my business and only a couple that are more personal.
